Aquatica

One of the works I made for my minor where I dive deep into learning environment concept art. Aquatica is based on Vietnamese architecture and their environment, mainly the Mekong Delta. The area is reigned over by the Submerged Demon King. He possess the Hydraflow Sword, a weapon that lets him freely control the water level around him. This heavily effects the entire region around the castle. The castle is set up on rocks just like houses would be set up on stilts to stay above the water in the Mekong Delta. The castle was inspired by old Vietnamese architecture.
